Sebastian Vettel now leads the F1 Championship race.




YEONGAM, South Korea (TheSportsNEXT) October 14, 2012: The reigning world champion gave chances of his F1 title defence a world of good on Sunday when Sebastian Vettel won the Korean Grand Prix in a Red Bull one-two finish.




With this victory, Sebastian Vettel snatched the F1 title championship lead from Fernando Alonso of Ferrari and still there are four races left in the Formula One season 2012.

The Korean Grand Prix 2012 victory is Sebastian Vettel’s third straight title victory which is his fourth triumph of the ongoing season and 25th of his F1 career.

After his superb show in Korean GP, Sebastian Vettel has now 215 points in the F1 Championship 2012, six more than Fernando Alonso who has 209 points after finishing third on Sunday.

Mark Webber of Australia also remained in the hunt with an impressive show as he ended second after commencing the Korean Grand Prix 2012 on pole position. Webber was overtaken by his team-mate Sebastian Vettel off the grid into the first corner.

Red Bull became the first Formula One team this season to end with one-two victory.
