MELBOURNE, Australia (TheSportsNEXT) November 22, 2012: The Cricket Australia (CA), on Thursday, made public the schedule for the 2013-14 Ashes series against England.



England will tour Australia in November 2013 where they will play a total of five Test matches as well as five One Day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals, the Cricket Australia said in a release.

The Ashes Battle will swing into cricket action on November 21, 2013 when Gabba, Brisbane will host the inaugural Test match which will be followed by the second Test in Adelaide from December 5, third Test in Perth from December 13, fourth Test in Melbourne from December 26, while the fifth and the final Test will be played in Sydney from January 3, 2014.

The Cricket Australia Chief Executive James Sutherland said the schedule for the limited overs series will be released next year.

He said, "We are delighted to be able to confirm the Ashes fixtures so far in advance of the series. It means fans will be able to plan their trips around the country to follow all the action. I am sure there will be a lot of fans from the UK who will want to make the trip over and we look forward to hosting them here."

England will have a detailed tour Down Under in 2013-14 as they will also played four tour matches against quality sides like Western Australia XI, Australia A, New South Wales XI, and a Chairman’s XI.

The complete schedule for The Ashes 2013-14 Tests follows:
1st Test - November 21-25 - Brisbane
2nd Test - December 5-9 - Adelaide
3rd Test - December 13-17 - Perth
4th Test - December 26-30 - Melbourne
5th Test - January 3-7 - Sydney
