KARACHI, Pakistan (TheSportsNEXT) September 19, 2012: The 9th edition of AKU Inter-School U17 Basketball Tournament organized by AKU Sports Centre with the support of Sindh Basketball Association (SBA) at AKU Sports Centre Gymnasium has entered Quarter-Finals stage.




The City School Gulshan A-Levels will take on The City School North Nazimabad, British International School will play against The City School Gulshan O-Levels, Habib Public School will take on The City School PAF-Chapter and Cadet College Petaro will play against Shahwilayat Public School in the Quarter-Finals of the tournament.

The last three round matches were decided Tuesday whose results are as follow:

MATCH # 1
THE CITY SCHOOL GULSHAN A-LEVELS (TCS A-LEVELS        Vs         SHAHWILAYAT PUBLIC SCHOOL (SPS)
TCS A-LEVELS  won the match. The final Score was  41 - 36 Pts.  At the end of the 1st Half, the Score was  20 - 16 points in favour of  GS.
Individual Score Winner
1.  SM Faraz Rizvi 14 Pts.  2.  M. Abbas 12 Pts.  3.  Nahal Rasheed 10 Pts. While 1.  Mujtaba Nazar 17 Pts. 2.  Zain Mehdi 06 Pts. were the main scorer for looser.

MATCH # 2
THE CITY SCHOOL GULSHAN O-LEVELS (TCS O-LEVELS)       Vs         COMMECS COLLEGE (CC)
TCS O-LEVELS won the match. The final Score was  26 - 12 Pts. At the end of the 1st Half, the Score was  10 - 04 points in favour of  TCS O-LEVELS.
Individual Score Winner
1.  M. Salman 08 Pts.  2.  Hamza Khan 06 Pts.  3.  Shayan Abdul Karim 05 Pts. While 1.  Farjad Shakeel 06 Pts. 2.  Mehdi Raza 04 Pts were the main scorer for looser.

MATCH # 3
THE CITY SCHOOL PAF-CHAPTER (TCS-PAF) Vs           BAY VIEW HIGH SCHOOL (BVHS)
TCS-PAF won the match. The final Score was  92 - 10 Pts. At the end of the 1st Half, the Score was _44 - 02 points in favour of  TCS-PAF.
Individual Score Winner
1.   Wajeeh Ahmed 36 Pts.  2.  Shahmeer Zaheer 22 Pts.  3.  Danish Sultan 10 Pts. While 1.  Taha Hussain 08 Pts. 2.  Haider Jaffry 02 Pts were the main scorer for looser.
