KARACHI (TheSportsNext) August 27, 2012: Pakistan’s former Test cricketer and ex-captain of Pakistan International Airlines Asif Mujtaba’s father M. Mujtaba passed away on Tuesday.
M. Mujtaba had been serving as Administrator at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium in Karachi and his funeral prayers were offered on Tuesday evening at Paposh area of the metropolis.

Meanwhile, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf, Chairperson PCB Women Wing Bushra Aitazaz, and PCB COO Subhan Ahmed have condoled the sad demise of Father of former test cricketer Asif Mujtaba.
The PCB said in a statement issued later on Tuesday, “The entire PCB family expresses their deepest sympathies to Asif Mujtaba on this sad occasion. May the departed soul rest in eternal peace! May Allah Almighty give him and his family strength to bear this huge loss!”
